Tortoise and Hare
The ITC Tortoise and Hare 5K will be held starting from Demmler Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Construction on Putnam Avenue means that there is a detour. Registration is at the Eau Claire YMCA. The kid's run begins at 7 p.m. at Demmler Park. The 5K race begins at 7:30 p.m.

ITC Mini-Track Meet
The ITC Mini-Track Meet will be held at the track at Chippewa Falls High School, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and features the predicted mile, 800 meter, 3200 meter and 400 meter races and medley relay. The meet begins at 6 p.m.

Tri Eau Claire-Run/Row/Ride
The Tri Eau Claire-Run/Row/Ride triathlon, for the benefit of youth recreation scholarships, will be held at the Hobbs Ice Arena, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The race begins at 9:00 a.m.
Pure Water Days
The Leinenkugel's Pure Water Days races will be held at Chippewa Valley Family YMCA in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. The 1 mile run begins at 8:10 a.m., and the 4 mile and half marathon begin at 8:00 a.m. The 2 mile fit walk begins at 8:00 a.m.

Carson Training Clinics
For 10 consecutive Saturdays starting on August 21 and leading up to the ITC's Oct. 30 Carson 5K and 10 mile races, the ITC will host training clinics featuring a variety of area fitness experts. The clinics will start at 7 a.m. at the Owen Park tennis courts, and will be followed by your choice of a 5, 10, or 15 mile group run.
